The Grossgold Clinic offers a number of on-site, specialty procedures and collects specimens for a wide variety of national specialty and traditional laboratories. Functional lab testing helps us to identify the underlying cause of symptoms in order to diagnose and treat you more effectively. Routine testing may include blood counts and chemistries, while specialty labs make kits available that can provide more complex analysis with cellular functions, chronic illnesses, and genetic markers. Testing may also include hair, saliva, or urinalysis specimens.
Health recovery requires a body cleared of infections and pollutants and a strong immune system. Many intravenous therapy (IV) treatments available on-site are the Grossgold Clinic’s best option to boost the immune system, detoxify harmful chemicals and metals from the body, and replenish essential nutrients for the body. These services are provided in a comfortable and nurturing environment so you can rest as you receive your treatments.
SPECIALTY LAB SERVICES
The hallmark of an integrative approach to health care is the determination to identify root causes of illness and seek treatments that go beyond symptom relief. This requires a sophisticated array of tests for blood, urine, and other sampling that can provide the diagnostic capacity to “drill down” and evaluate multiple factors simultaneously. The Grossgold Clinic makes a wide array of national lab testing available, and provides numerous specialty blood, urine, and other kits, with skilled phlebotomists available to draw, prepare, and ship specimens to the numerous labs we utilize. Additionally, the Grossgold Clinic offers its patients the convenience of having a LabCorp in-house blood draw station.
Are foods making you fatigued, sick, or tired? Allergy tests can identify your sensitivities to additives and foods that may trigger potentially harmful immune reactions.
The Grossgold Clinic works with specialty cancer laboratories that perform some of the newest testing for cancer markers (monitoring), along with cancer diagnostic testing.
Cortisol, DHEA, estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone are some of the key hormones that regulate our behavior and physiology. Specialty labs can identify specific levels of hormones using both blood and saliva.
The Grossgold Clinic works with laboratories that perform state-of-the-art clinical and research testing for Lyme Disease and co-infections or associated tick-borne diseases, among other infectious agents.
The Grossgold Clinic works with many different laboratories to identify metabolic imbalances that may contribute to underlying chronic conditions. Testing may include amino acids, antioxidants, B vitamins, core nutrients, digestive support, essential fatty acids, and minerals. Numerous tests are also available for celiac and gluten sensitivities.
We can become sick after acute or chronic exposure to toxins in our food, homes, outdoors, and / or in the personal products we use. Air pollution, heavy metals (such as Mercury), and mold are but a few toxins that can make us sick, or prevent us from healing. The Grossgold Clinic offers blood testing to identify a multitude of possible toxins.
Genetic testing looks at genes to identify information about hereditary medical conditions (cancer, diabetes, heart disease, etc.) in your family and predisposition / risks for other health concerns, such as insomnia and low energy.
These genetic tests identify changes in chromosomes, genes, or proteins. Genes called SNPs can create vulnerabilities to many kinds of allergic, infectious, immune, nutritional, psycho-emotional, and toxic stress. Getting to the genetic root cause provides important data to prevent and treat chronic medical conditions and psychiatric disorders. The Grossgold Clinic offers specialty kits from national labs that will confirm or rule out risk factors and suspected genetic conditions.
We offer many useful genetic test panels that help address the whole health picture of the patient, such as:
Alpha-1 For AAT Deficiency
BRAC1 / BRAC2 (Breast Cancer)
Cardiogenomics For Heart Risk Factors
MTHFR (Methylation Pathways)
Pharmacogenetic testing (PGx); for your unique genetic response to medication.
Genetic tests expose vulnerabilities, but also provide what kind of preventive measures or treatment, such as dietary and lifestyle changes, should be implemented for effective treatment and long-term health.

HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY (HBOT)
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a medical treatment in which a patient breathes 100% Oxygen in a total body chamber. These soft chambers provide low atmosphere, hyperbaric pressure. While the use of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for burns, certain tissue infections, wound healing, and other conditions is well-recognized, integrative medicine views HBOT as useful for promoting healing in the brain or tissue, improving cognitive function, or as adjunctive therapy for stroke and many other conditions.

Please note that the Grossgold Clinic doesn’t yet provide Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) as a specialty lab service. Instead, we can offer you a referral to a certified and trusted practioner who does. For more information on our affiliated practioners, or other services of this nature, call us at 727-330-3844.

The ION Profile® tests over a hundred biomarkers to evaluate:
Nutrient & Toxic Elements
The ION Profile® Test evaluates direct and functional measurements in plasma, serum, urine, and whole blood, not just white blood cells. This combined assessment allows for an evaluation of nutritional need according to both nutrient levels and the enzyme activity that depends on those nutrients.
The ION is available in three formats:
1. CardioION Profile with cardiovascular markers.
2. ION with 20 amino acids; the standard panel.
3. ION with 40 amino acids.
