MASSAGE THERAPIES & BODYWORK
Massage therapy is an ancient, therapeutic modality known for enhancing the flow of body fluid, promoting relaxation, and reducing muscular tension. Through the physical manipulation of the connective tissue, ligaments, and muscles, massage creates a total sense of well-being and is effective for combating and relieving stress.
Massage is beneficial for chronic pain management, frozen shoulder release, headache relief, inducing relaxation, managing stress, muscular assessment, Structural Integration (SI), TMJ challenges, and unwinding stress from working at a computer or desk.
Therapeutic massage is a focused type of massage designed to address the source of pain. Often, the place where we are experiencing structural pain is not where the challenge originates from, and pain may often be “referred” from another area. Several different massage techniques can be combined to customize a treatment plan with the intention of highlighting and relieving these lines of tension. The more connections that we can make within the body, the greater the opportunity for lasting minimization of symptoms.
Massage therapy has an impressive range of emotional, mental, and physical benefits.

Acu-Reiki is the use of acupressure combined with Reiki. This therapy combination balances energy systems, provides relaxation, and supports health. It also helps put the body back in balance and works on the energy systems to clear blockages.
Acupressure uses light to moderate pressure, which is applied to acupuncture points with the elbows, fingers, forearms, palms, and thumbs. Acupressure helps to bring the body into balance.
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
The deep tissue massage aims to relieve chronic muscular stress in the deep layers of the muscular system.
LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE MANUAL THERAPY MASSAGE
The lymphatic drainage manual therapy massage is gentle bodywork that activates lymph circulation to stimulate the functioning of the immune system and parasympathetic nervous system. The lymphatic drainage manual therapy massage is a specialized, bodywork technique that applies a repetitive pressure at lymph node sites and a stroking technique along lymph vessels that stimulates the movement of lymph fluid. This therapy assists with post-surgical inflammation and swelling due to numerous heath complaints, such as arthritis, back pain, gastritis, neck pain, sinusitis, and more.
Myofascial release promotes flexibility and mobility of the body’s connective tissues and targets the fascial and muscle systems. Likewise, it mobilizes fibrous adhesions and reduces the sensitivity and severity of scarring caused by injury or surgery.
NEUROMUSCULAR THERAPY (TRIGGER POINT RELEASE)
Neuromuscular therapy (trigger point release) provides relief from myofascial trigger points. When trigger points develop in the body, they can cause referral pains and pull other muscles out of place. Trigger points are common in desk workers and people who spend a lot of time driving.
The oncology massage is a form of gentle massage designed to meet the specific needs of this population. It uses the same basic techniques as a general massage, but it is tailored to improve circulation, improve wellbeing, relieve pain, and relieve tension. In addition, it is beneficial in reducing anxiety and depression.
Reiki is a Japanese, hands-on healing technique for relaxation and stress reduction. This touch method uses chi (energy) to bring balance and improve health. The practitioner applies a light touch to the client or works slightly above the body in the client’s energy field. This approach to energy healing connects with the subtle energy of life to balance and feed the body’s own subtle energy system, leading to greater wellbeing. During a session, the body and mind attains a peaceful, restful state which empowers the body’s natural healing abilities to occur, while the client relaxes on a massage table, staying fully dressed with their shoes off.
The Swedish massage is a firm, flowing, and yet soft massage treatment that uses gliding strokes which promotes circulation, reduces muscle tension, and relaxes the body and mind.
SWEDISH WITH DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
The Swedish with deep tissue massage is a relaxing massage that applies a variety of Swedish massage techniques, which includes gliding strokes and pressure at tight muscle areas. It applies pressure at knots which are sometimes called trigger points.
